A TI84 Plus Review to Read

Whether you’re in High School Math or maybe you’re even at a college level, you’re going to find that you probably will want to go out there and purchase a graphing calculator.  Now, the question is, which graphing calculator should I get my hands on?

You’re going to find that there are a lot of them out there, but a popular one is the ti84 Plus.  Since I’ve been a big user of this calculator for a few years now, I wanted to give you a review that you can use before you set out and make your purchase.

The price tag:  Compared to most graphing calculators on the market, you’re going to find that the price is more than fair.  Don’t plan on spending more than $125 for the calculator itself.  If you shop online, you can find a relatively good price.  There is a good guide online on how you can find a cheap ti84 plus.

Download Apps:  This is something that I find to be very cool.  In today’s age, everything is about applications.  On this calculator, you can download apps straight to your calculator.  You can get popular applications such as Cabri Jr, CBL/CBR, as well as Science Tools, and a ton more.  When you make a purchase, you will find that 30 applications are already installed for you to use.

What can I do with it?

You can view equations, graph out math problems, coordinate, as well as input just about any advanced statistics equation.  You will find that there is nothing that this calculator can’t do.  Be sure to talk with your Math professor ahead of time though to ensure that you can use this in your classroom.

What do I get?

You’re going to get more than a calculator.  You’re going to get a USB cable to connect to your computer, a battery, a CD-ROM filled with everything you need to know, as well as a guidebook, applications, warranty, and more.  You will need to, however purchase 4 AAA batteries.
